Home Builders Supply Co names William “Gray” Blount, Jr. President of Home Builders Supply Co.
As third generation of the Blount family, Gray spent many afternoons and summers working in the family business. He joined Home Builders Supply Co full-time in 1995 after graduating from East Carolina University School of Business and became Vice President in 1998.
Over the years, Gray has been instrumental in the company’s continued growth and improvement. The company expanded its footprint to Wilson, and completed Greenville’s design center featuring windows, doors and cabinets, in 2009. In 2015, the business grew again with the addition of HBS Commercial Division, which recently relocated to its new location at 201 Hooker Road, Greenville.
